Angela Salerno is a graphic designer and illustrator from Argentina. She has published her first children's book this year, and a new book with her illustrations is about to be published in the next few months. Angela enjoys working by hand. She loves using thin and delicate strokes and spending hours making details. She also applies digital tools that easily allow trying different compositions and making fast changes.

I remember myself drawing as a child, watching my mother creating big and colorful paintings, and my father working with his fountains pens on detailed blueprints of buildings. I think my love for art and those special pens come from my home, where I found these tools to create the visual universe that characterizes my work today. I studied graphic design to transform my passion into professional work. Then I found in the illustration a perfect match between those worlds.
